For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been watching the NFL and NBA to no end, and I love  it. But there is something that I’ve seen that’s becoming a bother to me, fans, and players  alike: the referees. Yes, their job is most important on the court or field, they can  determine the outcome of a game with just one whistle. So, how did we get here?

For the Pistons fans, a sigh of relief can be taken seeing that last night Ausar Thompson made his season debut recovering from a blood clot. While such a health scare is undoubtedly alarming, it's imperative to offer him grace and patience as he navigates his first NBA season.

It's time to shine a brighter light on the Detroit Pistons this year, so fans can take them off their NBA hit list. We understand in the 2023 - 2024 season, there was inconsistency in performance alongside various organizational restructures (naturally), but do the doubtful perceptions have to carry over into this new season? Is it fair for players like Cade Cunningham and Jalen Duren to walk around with the paranoia of perfection? For us, we say, they aren't defined by their past. 

It's safe to say that Bronny James is one of the, if not the most, controversial athletes in the NBA currently. News came out last night that Bronny has been moved to the South Bay G League team. Many people have a variety of opinions when it comes to this move regarding James, but thats not what this article is about. It's about dismantling the narratives that being an athlete in the G league is bad.
